This Privacy Policy describes how ICL SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS S.R.L ("we", "us", "our", or "SweatBuzz") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our SweatBuzz mobile application (the "App").

By using SweatBuzz, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information
- Username
- Email address
- Profile information (optional bio, profile picture)
- Date of birth (to verify age requirements)

Content You Create
- Photos you upload to your daily posts
- Comments on posts
- Likes and reactions to other users' content
- Friend connections and interactions

Direct Messages and Chat
- Private messages you send to other users
- Chat conversation metadata (timestamps, read receipts, message delivery status)
- Media files shared in chat conversations (images, photos)
- Chat history with your friends

- App interaction data (posts viewed, time spent, features used)
- Badge and achievement progress
- Friend activity patterns
- Device information (device type, operating system, unique device identifiers)
- IP address and general location (country/region level)
- Log data and crash reports

Authentication Data
- Google OAuth tokens (if you sign in with Google)
- Session information
- Login timestamps

1.3 Information from Third Parties

- Basic profile information from Google (if you use Google Sign-In)
- Information when other users mention you or interact with your content

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

- Provide Core Services: Enable you to create an account, post daily photos, interact with friends, earn badges
- Maintain the 24-Hour Feed: Automatically manage the visibility of posts in the feed
- Enable Direct Messaging: Allow you to send and receive private messages with your friends, deliver messages in real-time, and synchronize conversations across your devices
- Message Delivery: Process, transmit, and deliver your messages to intended recipients, including push notifications for new messages
- Communication: Send account verification emails and important service updates
- Safety and Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service, including monitoring for spam, harassment, or illegal content in messages when reported
- Improvements: Analyze usage patterns to improve app features and user experience
- Legal Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and respond to legal requests

3. How We Share Information

3.1 With Other Users
- Your username and profile picture are visible to your friends
- Your daily posts are visible to your friends for 24 hours
- Your comments and likes are visible on posts you interact with
- Shared content appears blurred on web and requires app access
- Private messages you send are visible only to the intended recipient(s)
- Your online status and message read receipts may be visible to your chat contacts

3.2 With Service Providers
We work with third-party services for:
- Cloud hosting and data storage
- Email delivery services
- Analytics (aggregated, non-personal data)
- Customer support tools

3.3 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information when required by law or to:
- Comply with legal processes
- Protect our rights and property
- Prevent fraud or security issues
- Protect users' safety

3.4 Business Transfers
If SweatBuzz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred. We will notify you before any such transfer.

3.5 Advertising Partners (Future)
We may work with advertising partners in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and provide opt-out options where required by law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account data: Until account deletion
- Posts: Automatically removed from feed after 24 hours (may be retained for safety/legal purposes)
- Direct Messages: Stored on our servers until you delete your account or the conversation. When you delete a message, it is removed from your view but may still be visible to other participants until they also delete it. Deleted messages are permanently removed within 30 days from our backup systems
- Chat Media: Images and files shared in chat are retained for the same duration as messages
- Deleted content: Removed within 30 days unless legally required to retain

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Secure authentication mechanisms
- Regular security assessments
- Limited access controls

5.1 Chat and Messaging Security
For your direct messages, we implement additional protections:
- Messages are transmitted using encrypted connections (TLS/SSL)
- Messages are stored in encrypted databases
- Access to message content is strictly limited to essential service operations
- We do not sell or share the content of your private messages with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes
- Chat data is processed on secure servers with restricted access

However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Please be aware that:
- Recipients may screenshot or save messages you send
- Messages may be stored on recipients' devices
- Shared media may be saved by recipients

6. Your Rights and Controls

6.1 Access and Portability
You can request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

6.2 Correction
You can update your profile information directly in the app settings.

6.3 Deletion
You can delete your account through app settings. This will:
- Remove your profile and content
- Disconnect friend relationships
- Delete your personal data (except what we must retain for legal purposes)

6.4 Privacy Controls in the App
- Control who can send you friend requests
- Block or remove friends
- Delete your own posts and comments
- Delete individual messages or entire chat conversations
- Block users to prevent them from messaging you
- Report inappropriate messages or content

7. Children's Privacy

SweatBuzz is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Users between 13-16 years old may require parental consent depending on their location. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including:
- Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission
- Ensuring recipients provide adequate level of data protection
